How wpc is handling covid-19

Our greatest desire as a church is that you and your family feel free to worship God and connect with His church while at the same time loving one another by seeking to keep one another safe.

worship

For our worship services, we are doing the following to ensure everyone’s safety:

  • Masks are recommended.

  • We encourage social distancing at 3 feet.

  • We have designated a specific seating area for those who have a high concern of Covid (such as those who are caretaking, anticipating a procedure, personally at risk, etc.) where we ask people to wear a mask out of concern for others.

  • We have suspended unneeded contact in our services (such as the greeting time).

  • Hospitality efforts, such as coffee, is served by a designated volunteer who wears gloves and a mask in order to eliminate the need to touch common objects such as cups, creamer, sugar, etc.

Mid-Week Programming

For our kids and student programs that take place on Wednesday night we are taking the following measures:

  • We recommend everyone wear a mask inside.

  • Meals are provided for kids and students in their respective program areas. In the Kids area, each child has their own table in our FMC classroom area. The Students have specified seating areas. These efforts are to still provide meals while also maintaining social distancing.

  • Meal servers wear gloves and masks. Kids and students do not serve themselves.
