Information
When: October 1st-3rd
Where: Possum Kingdom Lake (out by Fort Worth)
Housing: We will be staying at Lynn and Mary Zickefoose’s Lake House. There is room for many in beds, on couches and air mattresses. Ladies will be given priority on bedrooms. Mary and Lynn will also be cooking homemade meals all weekend.
What: We’ll be spending time on the lake (think boating, inner tubing, and fishing), play tons of board/card games (bring your favorite!), resting, and most importantly spending time recharging with Jesus Christ. Pastor Matt will lead our sessions. He’s teaching a series on “Rest for Your Souls” on how we can get the rest God invites us to receive.
Friday, Oct. 1st

1:30pm – Depart for Possum Kingdom
6:00pm – Check-in upon arrival
6:30 – Dinner
7:30pm – Session One
8:45pm – Small groups discussion
9:45pm – Fire, S’mores, Games
11:00pm – Lights out
Saturday, Oct. 2nd
9:30 – Breakfast
10:30am – Session Two
11:30am – Personal Devo Time
12:00pm – Lunch
1:00pm – Free Time (Boating, Board/Card Games, Hike, Fishing)
6:30 – Dinner
7:30pm – Session Three
8:45pm – Small Group Discussions
9:45pm – Pray at the Waterfront
Sunday, Oct. 3rd
9:30am – Breakfast/pack-up
10:30am – Session Four and Communion
11:30am – Final Clean-Up
12:00pm – Depart for Lubbock
5:00pm – arrive at WPC
