Preschool
Westminster Presbyterian Preschool/Daycare (Preschool) is an accredited Christian preschool for young children in the Lubbock community. It was established in 1992 as a ministry of Westminster Presbyterian Church and seeks to provide quality education and care for preschoolers in a safe, loving Christian environment.
We want to:
- Enhance the child's self-concept
- Set a Christian example and encourage spiritual growth
- Provide an enriched environment that stimulates curiosity, reasoning, problem solving, and perceptual development, encourages understanding of the natural world; and extends intellectual growth.
- Encourage family participation
- Promote and maintain the health and physical development of children
- Provide a loving and understanding environment which includes careful guidance and discipline
- Provide a flexible schedule containing developmentally appropriate activities, including aesthetic and creative experiences
- Teach and promote positive social skills.

Each classroom has no more than 14 children in attendance at any one time.
Our average student-teacher ratio is 1:7.
