Family Promise is committed to helping low-income families nationwide to achieve lasting independence. We do this by helping communities mobilize to provide safe shelter, meals, and support services for homeless families and through programs designed to redress the underlying causes of homelessness.
Young Life
Young Life thinks the world of kids. We believe that they deserve to know what life can hold for them. Young Life leaders are caring adults who come sharing that hope as well as fun and lasting friendships with kids. Young Life works to come alongside a teenager in a unique and adventurous way in the hopes of joining that teen in taking an honest look at Jesus Christ.
Meals On Wheels
Respecting the dignity of every human being, no matter their need or physical condition, Lubbock Meals on Wheels will provide nutritious home-delivered meals to those who are homebound, elderly, or disabled. We shall seek to break the social isolation experienced by the homebound, by providing warm, caring, friendly, contact through our volunteers.

Pray Lubbock
God has called us to prayer. Our original passion and ongoing rally cry is: “We will pray at all times with all kinds of prayer (Ephesians 6:18) to create an atmosphere for revival in our city.” Our Pray Lubbock Ministry Team (Board of Directors) is the trustee of this covenant with our Heavenly Father. We have determined to be prayer/relational focused rather than event-driven. This priority has caused us to focus on activities that increase and enhance the level of prayers being prayed on behalf of our city.
Backyard Missions
Each year we find a house in our neighborhood and work with the family at making it more of a home. Whether it is painting, building, cleaning or just helping out around the house we seek to build relationships with families in our neighborhood that go far beyond a weekend of work. This has been such a blessing and a weekend we look forward to every year! Check back soon for pictures from our last Extreme Home Makeover!
